Floral Life, Courses & Workshops
Floral Life is my passion, a former nurse, I have since childhood found nature to be magical. As a floral designer, love seeing what is going on around the world, follow other designers, trends, fashion. I take courses to discover and work with new techniques, challenging myself to become better at my craft. “Nothing is impossible” is my motto, we just have to figure out, how to make it happen.
Through work I have gotten to work The Philadelphia Flower Show, and The First Ladies Luncheon in Washington D.C. , two great experiences, where I also have met some amazing floral designers from all around the United States and the rest of the world.
I have had the great fortune to be able to learn from the best, and am currently studying to achieve EMC, European Master Certificate under the watchful eye of Tomas de Bruyne.
In challenging myself and in my desire to learn form the best, I have been fortunate to be able to undertake workshops with Tomas de Bruyne as well as, Francoise Weeks, Gregor Lersch, Tina Kjaer, and Hitomi Gilliam, all world renowned designers and teachers in floristry, all so talented, with their own aesthetic and style.
Philadelphia Flower Show
Who would not want to be part of the biggest indoor flower show in the world? It was cold, long hours, the concrete floor was unforgiving, but it was an is some of the best moments in my floral life, to see the Convention Center transformed from bare bones to multiple exhibits.
